About

I create atmospheric digital artwork through a hands-on, process-intensive approach that combines traditional artistic skills with AI-assisted tools. Working primarily in Krita, I build each image methodically—sketching foundations, masking specific areas, and refining through multiple iterative passes to achieve precise atmospheric effects and natural lighting.
My landscapes are not about photographic realism—they're explorations of color, mood, and emotion. Drawing from my abstract art background, I use landscape elements as a visual language to convey deeper psychological and metaphorical meanings. The Nordic forests, twilight skies, and atmospheric conditions serve as surface narratives for more complex emotional landscapes beneath.
After years of exploring diverse styles, I'm now developing a signature approach focused on these atmospheric landscapes. I'm particularly fascinated by how natural light at dawn and dusk can shift entire emotional registers. Each piece is constructed layer by layer, like assembling a puzzle, with careful attention to how elements interact, dissolve into space, and create feeling over representation.
With decades of experience in abstract art and graphic design, I approach AI tools as sophisticated instruments that require artistic vision, technical understanding, and substantial creative control. My process involves extensive manual intervention at every stage—from initial sketches to final atmospheric refinements.
Currently building a professional portfolio that showcases the depth and intentionality possible when AI tools are wielded with artistic expertise and traditional creative fundamentals.
