Blue Hour Lake

A winter landscape captured in the fleeting transition between day and night, when the sky holds both warmth and cold. The scene dissolves at its edges into white space, framing the moment like frost on a window.
Created through a methodical hybrid process: hand-sketched composition, precision masking, and iterative AI-assisted rendering in multiple passes. Each element—the snow-laden trees, the frozen expanse, the gradient sky—was built deliberately, layer by layer, using targeted prompts of 5-6 words per masked section.
The organic-edge technique is my signature approach, where landscapes emerge from and return to emptiness rather than filling the entire frame.
