This image is based on a photo of my late dog Lulu. I wanted to make a stylized 3D cartoon look of her.
I used three separate Stable Diffusion models to help with the execution in Krita, by masking, sketching and inpainting with different settings. One main part was to keep her looking like "her" by preserving the heart shaped facial mask. The body is intentionally soft against the spiky grass. The frame was also done separately, and everything was combined in Inkscape and then finalized in GIMP.
