I’m no stranger to dragons — I’ve done plenty over the years, usually louder, more saturated.
This time I wanted restraint. Scale. Atmosphere.
Instead of pushing color, I leaned into landscape and perspective. I placed the dragon right along the horizon line and gave it room to breathe — letting the empty foreground stretch toward it.
No castles. No knights. No obvious scale references.
Just distance, sky, and a creature that owns the skyline.
Oh, and this one is an Apex Marine Predator.
